in partnership with Hastings Council and the horticultural
producers of the Hastings region.

Principles
The Hastings Farmers' Market provide:
- an outlet for quality Growers, Producers and Processors
of Hastings products
- the vendor is the person who created the product,
grew the produce or is a verifiable agent representing
the Grower
- no arts, crafts, secondhand goods, retailers or wholesalers
will be permitted
Objectives
The Hastings Farmers' Market is a cost
based, not for profit activity that:
- maximises opportunity for Producers and Processors
to test their product in a real life situation
- maximises the earning potential for the Producers
and Processors
- creates as few obstacles as possible for Producers
and Processors to become involved
- provides an appealing and diverse range of products
- stimulates value-adding
- recognises the importance of delivering quality
products
- creates a supportive environment for Producers,
Processors and Consumers to interact
